In 1976, Journey’s Jonathan Cain released his first solo record, Windy City Breakdown. He then became a member of the Babys and would join Journey in 1980, just in time to work on the band’s platinum-selling album Escape.

Cain was inducted into the Rock Hall when Journey was inducted last year.

He'll appear at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the Rock Hall for a Hall of Fame Series interview. The interview will include a special acoustic performance too.

Tickets go on sale to members and donors on Monday and to the general public on Tuesday. They'll be available at

Throughout the day, guests who come to the Rock Hall will hear Journey-themed playlists and the Rock Hall will celebrate the band in its Hall of Fame Gallery. The event will be live streamed on the Rock Hall’s Facebook page and fans can submit questions during the Q&A directly through that page.
