Saturday, Shaker Heights 6th grade teacher Aisha Fraser Mason was stabbed to death at her home allegedly by estranged husband and disgraced judge Lance Mason, who is currently in police custody.

The Shaker Heights School District has canceled classes for today and tomorrow and a candlelight vigil is being held tonight at 5:30 p.m. at Woodbury Elementary. All are welcome to attend.

The Shaker Heights Teachers' Association has also started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the woman's two young daughters. In just a day's time about three-quarters of the $100,000 goal has been raised.
