Since opening in a new location earlier this year, the Akron Recording Company has aimed to showcase some of Northeast Ohio's talented musical acts. As it's put in a press release, the studio hopes to “combine the beauty of analog recording with the industry standard digital recording mediums to create a timeless sound as well as meet the many needs of today’s artists.”

Now, the studio has just announced that it’ll host its inaugural Holiday Client Showcase on Friday, Dec. 14.

Local indie acts Roid Rage, Oregon Space Trail of Doom, Leaf Borbie & the Family Tree, Free Black!, Mollo Rilla, and Marcus Alan Ward [pictured] will perform.

Doors open at 7 p.m., and the bands start playing at 8. Admission is $8, and the  event is BYOB.
