Last year, members of the British rock act Radiohead, who were nominated for induction into the Rock Hall, caught some flack when they announced tour dates that conflicted with the induction ceremony. The group wasn't inducted, so it would become a moot point.

But this year, the band will be inducted during the ceremony that takes place in March in Brooklyn, and singer Thom Yorke has already announced that he won't attend the festivities.

In an article published today, he tells Variety's Chris Willman that he won't be at the inductions because he'll be in Paris for the premiere of a piece he wrote for Katia and Marielle Labèque.

Yorke also says he's "very blasé" about the band's forthcoming Rock Hall induction but more excited about a possible Oscar nomination for his Suspiria score.
