This weekend, City Barbeque bursts onto the east side with style. The Columbus-based eatery is finally hosting a grand opening event at its new Beachwood spot (24325 Chagrin Blvd.).

"City Barbeque was founded here in Ohio, and our fans have been asking us to come to Cleveland for years," said Scott St. Clair, Senior General Manager, in a press release.

Expect several family-friendly activities at Saturday's event, including face painting, a photo booth (with props provided) and a rib eating contest, all starting at 2 p.m.

The fare includes entrees like brisket and pulled pork as well as various sides, including mac and cheese and slaw.
