In celebration of medical marijuana officially, at long last, opening for business on Jan. 16 in the Buckeye State, Ohio Marijuana Card is hosting an educational expo in Akron on March 23.

After the success of the group's first expo, which took place in Cleveland in late January, Ohio Marijuana Card is making the Akron installment even bigger.

Various vendors, doctors, cultivators, and dispensaries, along with guest speaker Shawn Coss, author of It's All in Your Head, are all bringing their medical weed expertise to the event. Held at the John S. Knight Center, this is just one in a series of cannabis expos being held throughout Ohio this year.

The expo takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $15. Purchase them here
