Super Mario Kart is coming to Cleveland in real life.

Mushroom Rally USA has announced plans to bring everyone's favorite childhood video game in costumed-go-kart-race-form to three Ohio cities this year. Originally only scheduled for Columbus and Cincinnati (among other cities nationwide), fan feedback brought the addition of a Cleveland stop.
Cleveland participants, dressed as their favorite Mario Kart characters, are set to compete at a pop-up go kart race track for stars, bragging rights and a chance to even race in Las Vegas.

It's still unclear when the event is headed to Cleveland, but more information will be announced here later this year. Tickets in other cities are starting at $55, so expect a similar cost in Cleveland, and costumes are included with that price on race day.
