Smashing Pumpkins to Play Blossom in August

After a successful anniversary/reunion run put them back into arenas last year, Smashing Pumpkins have announced dates for a summer tour that’ll bring them to Blossom on Aug. 19.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and AFI will join as special guests.



Last year’s Shiny and Oh So Bright Tour sold more than 300,000 tickets across North America. It was the band’s first tour in nearly two decades to feature singer-guitarist Billy Corgan, drummer Jimmy Chamberlin and guitarist James Iha.

Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning at 10 a.m. tomorrow. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday.
