Prior to opening her gallery in the 78th Street Studios, visual artist Dawn Tekler earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Cleveland Institute of Art. Recently, she worked with local artist Nick Perry, a guy who says he enjoys "building things," to create a new mural that features more than 3,000 books.

It’ll be revealed at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at Visible Voice Books during Walkabout Tremont.

“The dawn-and-dusk coloration applied to the dimensional literary canvas remind us that there are so many different stories that arise each and every day,” says Visible Voice owner Dave Ferrante, who commissioned the work, in a press release about the event. “On Friday, we’ll unveil the installation’s name, discuss the story behind its creation and celebrate its completion.”
