Born and raised in Chagrin Falls, singer-songwriter Nick Samson has played drums for most of his life. Samson, who graduated from the Ohio State University and now resides in Columbus, performs with the indie rock act Captain Kidd and has a solo career as well, recording under the moniker La Poré.

An actor, he’s currently playing Romeo in a new production of Romeo and Juliet that's coming to the Actors' Theatre of Columbus in May.

He's also just announced that his song “Missing It” will be part of the soundtrack for an upcoming Netflix romantic comedy The Perfect Date. The film airs on April 12.
