Fourth Annual Kitten Krazy Fundraiser Begins on Friday

Local rock photographer Joe Kleon, a volunteer at the the Kitten Krazy in Medina, holds an annual auction to raise money for the free-roaming shelter. He's just announced the details for his fourth annual Furrever Home Fundraiser.

To date, Kleon has raised $4977 for the shelter that offers fully-vetted cats and kittens for adoption on Tuesdays through Fridays from noon to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from noon to 3 p.m.

This year, Kleon, who regularly shoots for Scene, has donated concert photos from artists such as Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, Rush, Aerosmith, Metalica, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, AC/DC, Kiss, Stevie Nicks, ZZ Top, Wish You Were Here, Michael Stanley, U2 and many others.

Local photographer Anastasia Pantsios has also donated ten of her iconic photos to the cause.

The online Ebay auctions will begin on Friday and end on Monday, April 15.
