Americans love Christmas so much that we celebrate it from Halloween all the way through New Year's ... and also now in July, Christmas' half birthday of sorts.
Great Lakes Brewing Co.
is once again getting in on the action, offering its signature holiday beverage at its Ohio City location on Thursday, July 25 starting at 11:30 a.m.
This is the only opportunity to taste the potent Christmas Ale (we're talking 7.5 percent alcohol, so no need to pound these bad boys) before its real release in October.
Just like last year, the holiday-themed event includes a pig roast at 4 p.m, and an appearance from Santa from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., whom you can get a photos with. City Dogs Cleveland is also bringing adoptable pups from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. to boost up the adorable factor of the party.
No bottles of the hooch will be available for purchase, but any left over beer will be ready for growler pickup the day after the party. That is IF there's any beer left over at all.
