City Works Eatery & Pour House (10 Park Ave., 440-561-6100), which opened just a year and a half ago at Pinecrest in Orange Village, will close after business today. The massive 9,000-square-foot restaurant is known for its extensive draft beer selection and upscale pub fare. The concept, operated by Bottleneck management, was launched in 2016 in downtown Minneapolis. There currently are 10 other locations across Pennsylvania, Illinois, Texas, Virginia and Florida.

The closure is the first to befall the ritzy new Pinecrest development, and it comes on the heals of another high-profile shuttering, that of Granite City Brewery at Legacy. Other projects such as Dante Boccuzzi's Goma and the new Red Steakhouse are still in the works for the East Side mixed-use site.
